• What is screen printing?
    Screen printing is a printing technique that uses a woven mesh to support an ink-blocking stencil. The attached stencil forms open areas of mesh that transfer ink or other printable materials which can be pressed through the mesh as a sharp-edged image onto a substrate. A fill blade or squeegee is moved across the screen stencil, forcing or pumping ink into the mesh openings for transfer by capillary action during the squeegee stroke. Basically, it is the process of using a stencil to apply ink onto another material.

  • What is your minimum order?
    The minimum on screen printed items is 24. Please keep in mind that the cost per shirt decreases as the number of shirts you order goes up.

  • What ink colors can I choose from?
    Most standard colors and custom colors are available.
  • What type of images should I use?
    Images that have less than 6 colors.

  • What file types are accepted for supplied artwork?
    We accept the following file formats: EPS, AI, TIF, PSD, PDF, JPEG, BMP, GIF and PNG. Be sure to convert type to paths or outlines, or supply the font used.

  • What resolution is preferred for my artwork?
    The preferred resolution is 300 DPI or higher, however we also have the ability to clean up your artwork if it does not meet these requirements.

  • Can I get a sample or test print?
    Usually not a sample, but we can show you a mockup of the artwork prior to printing.

  • I already have shirts, can you print on the shirts I have?
  • How is the price determined?
    Pricing for screen printed apparel is determined by the quantity of items being ordered, the number of locations on the garment being printed, and the number of colors in your artwork. Dark-colored garments are generally more expensive than white or light-colored ones.

  • How does the order process work?
    After the artwork, type of apparel used, and the price is determined and approved, we ask for a partial payment (50%) and schedule a delivery date.

  • What is your turnaround time?
    Usually 7-10 days.

  • Which payment methods do you accept?
    We accepts cash, check, Visa, Mastercard or American Express.

  • Do I have to pay for shipping?
    UPS Ground shipping is FREE on orders over $100. If you prefer another carrier or need expedited shipping, we will happily arrange that for you at your expense.

  • What is your return policy?
    Due to the custom nature of your order, One 12 Apparel accepts NO RETURNS unless we are at fault for the mistake. We will then replace the order or credit your invoice.
